On March 4th, Ms. Yang Yanyan, Chairperson of CCPIT Guangxi Committee, met with Mr. Shambhu Hakki, Consul General of Consulate General of India Guangzhou, in Nanning. The two sides had in-depth discussions on how to promote cooperation between Guangxi and India in various fields.Ms. Yang Yanyan introduced the advantageous industries of Guangxi and the key economic and trade activities conducted abroad by CCPIT Guangxi Committee. She pointed out that there is broad development space for cooperation between Guangxi and India in fields such as medicine, spices, automobiles, and agriculture. She expressed great pleasure in facilitating Mr. Shambhu Hakki’s visit to Fangchenggang, and CCPIT Guangxi Committee is willing to strengthen communication and information sharing with the Consulate General of India Guangzhou, promote mutual visits in economic and trade fields, and build more pragmatic and effective exchange platforms for cooperation in various fields between enterprises of both sides, thereby promoting trade and investment cooperation between localities of China and India.

　　Mr. Shambhu Hakki introduced India’s pillar industries and cooperation with China. He stated that India’s resources in coffee, tea, medicine, and spices are abundant, with products of high quality and reasonable prices, which have great cooperation potential with Guangxi. He hopes to strengthen cooperation with CCPIT Guangxi Committee in the future, organize targeted business matching activities, and further promote cooperation and development between India and Guangxi in the aforementioned fields.
