In the morning of April 18th, Ms. Yang Yanyan, Chairperson of CCPIT Guangxi Committee met with Mr. Ilkhzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan. Both sides exchanged views on deepening mutually beneficial cooperation on trade and investment between Guangxi and Uzbekistan.Ms. Yang yanyan welcomed Deputy Minister Kasimov’s visit to Guangxi. She stated that in recent years, various levels of exchanges and interactions between Guangxi and Uzbekistan have been frequent, and exchanges and cooperation in various fields have continued to deepen, creating favorable conditions and broad space for expanding cooperation between the two sides at the local level. CCPIT Guangxi Committee is willing to establish regular contacts with Uzbekistan, focus on key industries and priority directions of both sides, share opportunities for cooperation through platforms such as the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, and promote more fruitful results in economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.

　　Deputy Minister Kasimov highly appreciated“Guangxi Embraces Five Continents (Central Asia)” China (Guangxi)-Uzbekistan (Khorezm) Economic Trade and Tourism CooperationPromotion Conference jointly organized by the CCPIT Guangxi Committee and the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou. He pointed out that the conference saw active participation from businesses from both China and Uzbekistan, and achieved practical and efficient results. He expressed the hope for close cooperation with CCPIT Guangxi Committee by establishing a working group for China-Uzbekistan economic and trade cooperation, and promoting two-way investment and development of enterprises in both regions. Uzbekistan is committed to providing good service guarantees for Guangxi and assisting in elevating friendly relations between the two sides to new heights.
