On July 18, 2025, Chairperson Yang Yanyan of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangxi Committee met with a delegation led by Consul General Phadil Ismail of Consulate General of Malaysia in Nanning. The two sides exchanged views on further deepening economic and trade cooperation between China and Malaysia.

Consul General Phadil Ismail stated that Malaysian side plans to organize a China-Malaysia B to B event during the 22nd China- ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS), and hopes to collaborate with CCPIT Guangxi Committee to build a platform in deepening cooperation between the business communities from the two countries.

Chairperson Yang Yanyan stated that CCPIT Guangxi Committee will actively support the Malaysian side by hosting trade and economic event together and organizing Chinese enterprises to participate in the event, thereby further facilitating exchanges and cooperation between the business communities of China and Malaysia.

Representatives from HQC Commerce Sdn. Bhd., Secretary General Ye Yan of CCPIT Guangxi Committee, and officials from the Division of ASEAN Affairs of CCPIT Guangxi Committee presented at the meeting as well.
