On March 12，2026, Ms. Yang Yanyan, Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangxi Committee, paid visits to Consulate General of the Republic of Singapore and Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Guangzhou respectively. Ms. Yang Yanyan exchanged views with Ms. Cindy Wee, Consul General of Singapore in Guangzhou, and Ms. Andalusia Tribuana Tungga Dewi, Deputy Consul General and Consul for Economics Affairs of Indonesia in Guangzhou on strengthening institutional cooperation, and facilitating preparation for the 23rd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) and China-ASEAN Business Council (CABC) Plenary Meeting .

Visit to Consulate General of the Republic of Singapore in Guangzhou

Ms. Yang Yanyan briefed the preliminary arrangement of 23rd CABIS and invited the Consulate General of Singapore and Indonesia in Guangzhou to attend the Liaison Offcials’ Meeting for the 23rd CABIS and CABC Plenary Meeting 2026. The above-mentioned consulates were also invited to assist in organizing business associations and enterprises to join the 23rd CABIS.

Ms. Cindy Wee and Ms. Andalusia Tribuana Tungga Dewi expressed their active support for the 23rd CABIS and the events of CABC to help promote bilateral economic and trade exchanges and cooperation.

Chairperson Ms. Yang Yanyan was accompanied by Secretary General of CCPIT Guangxi Committee and officials from the Division of ASEAN Affairs on the visits.
